AvailableAbout Bongo
*Name: Bongo *Age: 12 weeks (born approximately February 2026) *Current Weight: 6lbs *Rescued from: Puerto Rico *Adoption fee: $650 (includes $50 refundable positive training commitment deposit) Meet Bongo! Bongo is a happy, playful Labrador mix puppy with all the charm and curiosity you'd expect from a little one discovering the world for the first time. At just 12 weeks old, he is full of puppy energy, affection, and that irresistible clumsy sweetness that makes this age so special. This handsome tan boy loves people and is looking for a family ready for all the fun (and laughter) that comes with raising a puppy. Bongo is at the perfect age to grow up learning the ropes with his new family — whether that means adventures outdoors, toys scattered across the living room, or curling up for a nap after playtime. Like any young puppy, Bongo will need guidance, structure, and continued training to help him grow into a well-mannered adult dog. In return, he'll give you a lifetime of loyalty, love, and companionship. If you're ready to add puppy joy to your life, Bongo may be your boy. All of our dogs come with a 7-week group Beginner course at Bark n' Roll in North Reading included with adoption. If you are not local to North Reading you may opt for an included virtual private session with a certified positive trainer with Bark n' Roll. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited. RNR's ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog. MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed. APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email.
