About Bruce
Bruce is an easygoing, affectionate, and slightly shy adult cat waiting to settle into a quiet home. He likes to be pet, but in short bursts—head and back scratches, and sometimes even a tummy rub. When he's hungry, you’ll find him on your lap, though he won’t linger. He’s not a fan of being held, but will tolerate it, and he loves curling up in bed with his people. Bruce is attentive and seeks out attention when he wants it. He’ll let you know he’s ready to eat by politely tapping your arm and meowing. Bruce likes playing with his feather wand toy, but prefers play sessions in small doses. He’s somewhat vocal, known for his gentle meow and frequent purrs. Bruce consistently uses the litter box and enjoys both dry and wet food, with a slight preference for the dry. He’s gentle—never bites or scratches, and his quirky side shines when he gives “handshakes” or high fives. Bruce gets nervous around newcomers and needs time to feel safe, but he warms up eventually. He’s best as the only animal in a calm, predictable home where sudden noises are rare. Bruce is a sweet soul ready for someone patient to let his personality bloom.
