About Dottie
Dottie is in Huber Heights, OH and ready to shake up your world with her bulldog charm. At 2 and a half years old, she brings a rush of energy, curiosity, and plenty of joy wherever she goes. Since her arrival a month ago, Dottie’s made a big comeback—she started off a bit patchy after some health struggles, but a steady diet of hydrolyzed protein, lots of medicated baths, and the security of new routines set her right. She’s settled into foster life and now wears her confidence out in the open. Dottie thrives with other dogs around—she’s a social, rough-and-tumble type and needs a canine buddy for best results. Humans get her vote too, especially her foster Pops, who’s always up for a walk or a car ride. Snacks? Dottie would line up twice if she could. She’s learning to pace herself, but her zest is infectious. She hasn’t had any accidents in the house and is quick to let her people know when nature calls. She’s vigilant, too—announcing every new visitor and even the neighborhood leaves. Introductions to kids or cats should be careful and gradual, since she hasn’t lived with them before. Dottie’s heart is wide open, her spirit’s playful, and she brings a loyal, goofy presence to any home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
