My Ideal Home Hockey would do best in a calm, adult-only home with someone who can provide consistent, positive reinforcement training and predictable routines. A household without other animals (or one willing to manage very gradual, supervised introductions) and an adopter experienced with canine body language will help him feel safe and successful. Staff have observed that Hockey does not always like to share food, toys, or bedding, so he's likely to do best as the only pet or with carefully managed introductions and ongoing supervision around other animals.
