Siggy waited in foster care till the shelter was off quarantine. He is still pretty shy, but in his foster home he started to come out of his shell and sit in his foster's lap. He loves pets and once he is comfortable with you, he will grace you with a strong purr. He is back to hiding at the shelter, but he will blossom with all the attention he will receive at the shelter. Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws. We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday. Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
