Hi, I'm Betty White! I will be 5 years old this July. I love meeting new people. I might be extra excited when someone new comes over, but I calm down after about 15 minutes. I love playing with people, but I'm also happy to guard the house by laying somewhere I can look out the window. After my first day in my current house, I have never had an accident inside! Smart lady right here! If you tell me to "sit", I know what to do. Other commands, I'm not so good with, but I would love for you to teach me! I have slept in a crate before, but for the past few years, I have slept on my bed at night. Though I like having people around, I have no problem being alone for a while if you have to go to work. If you leave me somewhere safe, I'll lay around, play with toys, and look out the window while you're gone. Then I'll be excited to see you when you get home. If you need me to take a car ride, I'm great in the car. I may look out the window at first, but I'll probably get bored and lay down after a little while. If you have a fenced-in backyard, I would love to run around it with you. Or I like to explore and then lay in the sun. I like going on walks. When we go on walks, I will probably bark at any dogs I see, but im working on this! Truth be told, I would just prefer to be the only pet in the house so I can have all of your love for myself. Even though I love playing with adults and older children, I'm not very comfortable with smaller children, so I would do best in a home with older, more respectful humans. If you have a house ready for lots of love and of course some good snuggles, I'm your girl! -------------------------------------------- All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.
