Venus and her sister Serena made their way to us from Kentucky, and they are each ready to serve up the love! These "sisters" were part of a large group of pups, all said to be related, who were relinquished to a rural shelter down there. Venus was recently adopted, so we were able to welcome her brother Freddie. They had the cutest reunion here after two weeks apart! Serena is a perfectly petite little lady at just around 30 lbs. She is very striking with her longer, border-collie-ish coat, and her fluffy fox tail and little ankle socks are just too cute! Not only is Serena a beauty, but she is so darn nice too. Serena loves people of all ages, and she gets along well with other dogs. Serena is outgoing and goofy; she likes all eyes on her, and loves to entertain herself and her admirers by tossing her toys in the air and adorably pouncing on them, over and over. Serena was adopted for a short period of time, but was deemed to be too energetic and jumpy for the toddler in the home. Being a young and exciatble pup with minimal training, we do recommend that an adopter priortize that in order to set her up for success as she grows into a young woman! Her adopters did state that she was housebroken! She got into a routine quickly and did not have accidents. She is crate trained as well. So the silver lining is we know more about Serena than we would have if she were not in this home for one week. We hope this information helps her find the best match! Venus's adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
