Meet Dawn! This adorable 6yr old Chihuahua is just beginning her new chapter after recently being released from a breeder. Everything about life as a loved family pet is still very new to her, so she is understandably a little timid right now as she adjusts to her new surroundings. She is quiet and gentle and allows herself to be picked up and handled, and while she’s still figuring everything out, we can already tell she has a very sweet nature. As she settles in and learns that she is safe, we expect her personality to continue to blossom. Because she is still decompressing, we are taking things slowly and allowing her time to adjust before fully assessing her personality, confidence level, and comfort in different situations. Her ideal home will be patient, calm, and understanding of the transition many breeder-release dogs go through. With love, consistency, and time, she has all the potential to become a wonderful companion. 💛 More updates will be shared as we get to know her better. Basics: She is a spayed female guessed to be around 6 yrs old and she weighs close to 8lbs. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding - Adoption fee is $320. It helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip. -We do not place holds on our dogs. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland and the Kansas City area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Kansas City and NW Indiana areas.
