About Scooter
Scooter is one of those rare dogs who seems perfectly content just to be near his people. He’s earned the nickname Scootie-Patootie for the way he shuffles closer to catch every bit of attention. He’s got soulful eyes and a gentle spirit that pulls you in. Although his early life wasn’t easy—he arrived at the sanctuary wary of collars and leashes—he pushed through his fears with the help of patient volunteers. Now, Scooter calmly wears a collar and gets excited for his daily walks, which he takes politely on a loose leash. Scooter prefers the slower, softer things in life. Cuddling is his highlight, especially with plenty of belly rubs and kind words. He soaks up affection and won’t say no to a treat or two. He’s a low-energy dog who gets along well with other dogs, and he’s looking for a home where he can relax and get the love he’s waited for. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
