About Masani
Meet Masani, affectionately known as Grandma. This senior Great Pyrenees mix is ready for a peaceful retirement after spending her later years isolated in a goat pen with little human affection. Even with the rough hand life has dealt her, Masani stays upbeat and affectionate. Her age shows physically—she has some muscle atrophy in her hind legs and sometimes needs a hand getting up after a tumble. At about 70 pounds, she's a gentle presence who appreciates calm company more than excitement. Masani gets along well with both dogs and cats, though she does prefer to eat on her own. If you’re looking for a mellow, caring companion who just wants a quiet place to spend her golden years, she’ll fit right in. She’s not going to steal the spotlight at parties, but she’ll be a loyal, steady friend for people and pets alike. Currently in foster care, Masani is hoping to meet someone who will open up their home and heart. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
