This 1 year old boy is a sweet and sensitive, 73 pound Great Pyrenees that just wants to give you all the love in the world. Gus is a special dog. He plays hard, sleeps hard, and loves hard. He's cool, calm, and collected until it's time for zoomies, walks, or playing with his favorite toys. Not only will you find endless love with him, but hours of laughs watching his playful antics when he throws his toys up in the air and tosses them back to himself! He prefers to stay close to home with his people most of the time because he's not a huge fan of car rides just yet. Gus also feels hard. He does his best to mask his anxiety behind stoicism but will often hide or avoid contact if he becomes scared. But the great news is that he's completely soothed by the presence of a confident K9 pal! Because of this, Gus will need a furever home that includes another dog. With that companionship, he will continue to blossom into the amazing dog he's already become! He loves playing with smaller dogs and is a perfect gentleman when meeting both adults and kiddos. You can also catch Gus enjoying a literal cat nap with his feline friends! Gus is a super quick learner-already mastering bathroom habits, leash walks, and being left out in the house when you're gone. He's decided since he's a good boy, who's never gotten into anything when left alone, he hasn't needed a crate.
