About Sheila
Sheila is a spirited, affectionate dog with a real story of resilience behind her. She was once confined outdoors and bred repeatedly before ending up in a shelter after her owner died. Sheila’s life turned a corner when she came to I Heart Animal Rescue, joining her son who had already been saved by the same team. She’s been thriving ever since, showing real joy in daily life and a strong bond with her people and canine family. Sheila shines brightest around water—she’ll chase a ball into the pool with the giddy energy of a puppy and never turns down a splash when she has the chance. She’s working on her leash manners and showing impressive progress. Sheila does get anxious when left by herself, so she’d do well in a home with plenty of company and a calm, stable environment. She gets along well with children and brings warmth wherever she goes. If you live near Fort Lauderdale, come meet Sheila at the rescue ranch and see how much happiness she could add to your home.
