I'm Amos, a beautiful tri-color terrier puppy with a face guaranteed to immediately melt your heart! If that doesn't do it, my cuddly nature and fun personality will. I'm still just a baby and came to the Humane Society of York County when my owner surrendered me. My estimated birth date is November 2025. I spent five weeks in a foster home after I arrived at HSYC. I've proven to be an extremely affectionate little boy who likes to be at my people's side constantly. I love to be held and snuggled, and prefer to be touching my humans when I fall into my many puppy naps. I thrived in my temporary home, making excellent progress at learning my basic house manners. I love to play with other dogs or my humans. But if they're not available, I'm content to entertain myself. I enjoy playing with my toys - stuffies, Nylabones, tennis balls, Nerf balls, tug ropes. My very favorite is a frozen Kong filled with peanut butter and yogurt. I got along well with the resident dog in my foster home, and I watched her all the time to learn new things, like how to go up and down stairs and how to walk on a leash. My foster family says I'm a very smart boy and I learn very quickly. I'm a graduate of Zoom Room in Fort Mill and was an A+ student, learning important skills like sit, down, wait, spin and heel. I also gained so much confidence from my first class to my graduation day! I'm a terrific car rider and enjoyed my trips to school. I'm a wonderfully sweet, gorgeous little boy and I hope to find a loving forever home soon where I can continue growing up. Like all puppies, I have typical bursts of play energy followed by naps. Then more play and naps! I need a home where I can continue growing and learning, and that means plenty of patience and consistency from my new family.
