***COURTESY POST. NOT IN OUR CARE*** Meet Lima, an adorable 8 year old mixed breed, medium sized dog package of cuteness! Lima came from.. you guessed it Peru! She was a stray dog there living in a cemetery and needed help. She's been in the states for 7 years though and due to a change in her family's living situation, they are sadly unable to keep her after 7 years together. Lima has been staying home alone for up to 10-12 hrs daily (9 is about her max comfortably) and her owner has decided that's not what's best for her so they want to give her a chance for a happier life where someone is home more. She is dearly loved and has been an amazing dog, her owner stated. Lima is healthy, happy and loves to run around and play but is also a good lounger. She' good with cats, kids and all people.
