Hi humans! Meet Slim Jim! Named for his love of the delicious meat snack, this powdered-sugar-nosed gentleman recently arrived at FDHS as a stray and was never reclaimed. It tugs at the heart a bit, because Jim is such a good boy, and it's clear he's been loved for many years. Jim's eyes are a little cloudy, and he's not the fastest or most playful pup these days, but don't let that fool you. He's got a soft, youthful heart and the sweetest personality. He's been nothing but kind and easygoing with his caregivers, medical staff, and volunteers, and he doesn't seem to mind much of anything, including the other dogs. Because of his age, Slim Jim would likely thrive in a quieter home where he can enjoy the simple luxuries in life: cozy naps, gentle company, and maybe a snack or two.
