Babe Ruth A184204 46 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old -He's the kind of dog who just needs a little time to figure things out--and once he does, you can see the sweet, playful personality underneath starting to shine. -When we first met, he seemed unsure about attention, like it's something he hasn't had much experience with before. At times he didn't quite know what to do with pets or closeness, but the longer we spent together, the more he settled in and leaned into it. By the end, he was clearly enjoying the connection. -He's very food motivated and already knows how to sit, taking treats gently and politely. He also has a fun, playful side and enjoys toys. When he gets excited, he can be a little clumsy with affection--pushing in close or bouncing around--but he responded well to gentle guidance and quickly started to understand boundaries. -He may be a bit sensitive to quick movements, especially over his head, and will do best with someone who moves at his pace and helps build his confidence. Once he realizes he's safe, he relaxes and starts to enjoy the attention, even leaning in for more. -He walks nicely on leash with minimal pulling and seems eager to learn.
