About Tommy Hope Lower

Tommy has spent over three months at the shelter, but his resilient spirit is making a comeback after a rough start. When he arrived, Tommy was in tough shape—so underweight that his hips showed through deep pressure sores. Thanks to a quick-acting vet and a caring team, he's put on nearly 20 pounds and his wounds are nearly healed. Throughout the process, Tommy never lost his fondness for people, approaching everyone with gentle curiosity. These days, Tommy is steady and mellow. He enjoys time outside, loves to loaf in sunny spots, and doesn't mind sharing play spaces with other dogs or children—he just does his own thing. He takes treats gently, walks nicely on leash, and tries to keep his indoor/outdoor run clean. Tommy has discovered the simple joy of a soft blanket under him, so a cushy bed is at the top of his wish list. He'll chime in with a little "talk" when he wants attention or a snack. Tommy is looking for a family to show him what real love feels like. Click apply to start the adoption process.
