Each dog is: ~Spayed or neutered (if age appropriate) ~Fully vaccinated ~Microchipped ~Heartworm tested ~Maintained on heartworm prevention ~Treated for fleas and ticks ~Dewormed as needed Adopters can feel confident knowing their new companion has received essential care through our foster-based rescue program. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HOW TO APPLY TO ADOPT If you are interested in adopting, please understand that clicking “I’m Interested” or submitting an inquiry through Petfinder is not an adoption application. To be considered: Submit an adoption application through our website Our volunteer team reviews all applications carefully Dogs are matched based on best fit, not first-come, first-served Because we are a volunteer-run nonprofit rescue, application review can take up to 10 days, and sometimes longer depending on volume. Our dogs live in foster homes rather than in a public shelter setting, which helps us better understand their personalities, routines, and needs before adoption. If the dog is listed and does not show adoption pending on our website, we are still accepting applications. Please note that many dogs receive multiple applications. ~Is the dog potty trained? Unless specifically stated in the dog’s bio, assume potty training is still in progress. Many rescue dogs come from difficult backgrounds and may need patience, consistency, and training in their new home. ~Do you respond to every application?
