In fact, Richard is quite the skilled mouser, making him a natural little hunter at heart! Richard would do best in a home with older kids who understand how to give him space while he settles in. Younger children can make him a bit nervous. He has lived successfully with another cat and even two dogs, so with slow introductions, he could do well in a multi-pet household. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
