Nala is full of energy but with a couple walks a day with play keeps her calm. She loves attention and being close to people when lounging. She is overall good with kids but when small kids run she exhibits her herding instincts of nipping and using her body to control movement, especially if she gets the zoomies. When inside kids lets kids get in her space for attention and cuddles. She doesn't bark often but will when she really wants something. She is good with new people but does initially want to jump up, but with proper control will restrain herself quickly. If she gets bored she will find something to chew and prefers socks and shoes. If she has appropriate toys it does help keep her from chewing on non-toys. She loves being outside especially with someone. She will lay in the grass sunning and romp around sniffing for things. If she smells something underground like an animal she'll try to dig it up. If you can keep up with her physically and mentally she will latch on to you and be your buddy.
