Tommy is a 1 year old Border Collie mix with bright eyes and a busy brain, the kind of dog who is always ready for the next assignment. He was surrendered for not being the right fit for his previous family, but that just means his perfect match is still out there. Tommy does jump when he gets excited, so he would do best in a home with kids 8 and up who can handle his enthusiasm. He keeps his kennel clean when let out regularly, walks nicely on a leash, and takes treats gently. He is also a big fan of chewing on bones, happily settling in once his energy has had a proper outlet. He gets along well with other dogs but would prefer a cat free home.
