Ever want your own pet unicorn? Well here she is! Maybelline is a very, very sweet and gentle girl about 10 years old. Not she was her history was regarding her younger years but someone once loved her, as she is very kind, gentle, and loves all people and all other animals. She had a rare condition in her ear and ear lobe where her body was collecting calcium in that area and basically turned her ear into a rock. The entire thing including her ear canal had to be removed. She looks a little silly but feels so much better now! We aren’t sure if the cause but it was likely related to prolonged ear mites and ear infection which we cleared up in the remaining ear. She’s much happier not having a painful, deteriorating ear now and does just fine without it. No further treatment or medication is needed. Just waiting for her fur to grow back.
