Meet Wheat Thins! This well-mannered pup is a 1-year-old Terrier mix who weighs 33 pounds. He's fully house-trained and doesn't require a crate. He currently sleeps comfortably on a dog bed in his foster parents’ room and enjoys being close to his people. Wheat Thins loves going for walks, riding in the car, playing with his favorite stuffies, and snuggling up for cuddles. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and does especially well with the small dogs in his foster home. He would thrive in a forever home with a confident canine companion to help him continue building confidence. Wheat Thins is shy and fearful when meeting new people, but he isn't aggressive. With patience and kindness, he warms up quickly and forms strong bonds, becoming affectionate and friendly with those he trusts. He's currently learning basic obedience skills in his foster home and is making steady progress. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
