Eugene is enjoying his indoor "retirement" after being rescued from the cold. Eugene appreciates every bit of attention he gets! He loves to "push back" with his big 'ol head for a deeper massage, runs alongside his foster mom to prolong the affection, and purrs all the while. No fancy toys are needed to keep this boy happy! He's a sweet, docile, easy keeper who uses his litter box faithfully and isn't picky about food. Eugene is a "grandpa cat" (estimated age 10) so a quieter home may be better for this elder gent. If coming home to a loyal, no-drama friend who will shower you with appreciation and affection sounds good to you, Eugene might be the one for you! Eugene did test positive for FIV (the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), so he should be an only cat or a companion to another friendly FIV cat. (FIV means the immune system is less strong compared to other cats, so they can be more susceptible to infections, and some FIV cats might have shorter lifespans.
