Pauley and Pip are 9monthold littermates and an incredibly sweet bonded pair who came from a breeder/hoarding situation. Despite that start, these two boys have blossomed in their foster home and rely on each other for comfort, confidence, and companionship. After discussing with their foster, we have decided they will need to be adopted together, as they are very bonded and do best as a pair. They are around 15 pounds, and won't get much bigger. They have a naturally calm, gentle temperament and are not the wild, highenergy type Pip is the more sensitive of the two — a gentle, submissive little guy who warms up beautifully with kindness and routine. He loves being held, enjoys affection, and is learning that the world is a safe place. Pauley is the braver sibling, helping Pip feel secure. He is affectionate, peopleoriented, and loves exploring the yard and soaking up attention. Both boys are adjusting wonderfully to normal home life. They enjoy being outside, running in the yard, and relaxing inside with their foster family. They are still working on housetraining and will need continued patience, supervision, and consistency as they learn a new home and routine. They currently use a pet door in their foster home, which has helped them understand that potty happens outdoors. They are still in the training stage and will need adopters who are home more often to provide structure, guidance, and companionship. They cannot be left alone for long stretches, as they are still learning, still chewing, and still building confidence.
