About Jenga

Jenga is the class clown of her foster home, a chubby little torbie/calico with expressive cheek smudges who always looks like she’s smiling. She started out skittish and unsure, but over time, she transformed into the confident queen bee among her fellow foster cats. She runs the show, leading the group and winning everyone’s hearts with her goofy antics and stubborn love of Churu treats—she’ll tap your hand for more, without an ounce of shame. Jenga has always lived with other cats and would do great with a feline friend. She’s curious but cautious, preferring to scope things out from a safe perch before warming up. New people and spaces make her shy, so patience is key. Jenga thrives in a calm home with no young kids and with people who understand cat body language. Experienced cat owners will appreciate her mix of independence and affection—she’s the type who’ll accept pets on her terms and reward patience with deep, satisfying trust. If you’re thinking of adopting a pair, her best buddy Aspen could be included, but it isn’t required. Jenga is about two years old, spayed, negative for FIV and FeLV, vaccinated, and reliably tidy with her litter box. She’s currently in Houston, TX, but can be transported to the Northeast or Pacific Northwest for the right adopter. Jenga’s charming personality and hard-won trust will make her a loyal companion for someone willing to let her settle in at her own pace. Click apply to start the adoption process.
