I’m Buttercup, a 3 month old hound mix weighing about 12 pounds, and I’m still growing into what will likely be a perfect medium-sized girl. I may be small right now, but my personality is anything but. I’m playful, affectionate, and full of life—living up to my Powderpuff name with every tail wag and zoomie. I’m currently learning all the important puppy basics like crate training, leash walking, and house breaking. I’m not all the way there yet, but I’m putting in the effort every single day. With a patient and committed family, I’ll keep building my skills and confidence. Consistency, structure, and lots of love will help me grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be. Since I'm still young, I will likely get along with kids and other dogs, and I’d thrive in a home where I have space to run, play, and burn off all my puppy energy. A fenced yard would be a dream for me. If I’m the only dog, I’ll need plenty of exercise and attention to keep my happy spirit shining. My start in life wasn’t easy. I came from a litter of seven at a pound, and only three of us made it through after fighting parvo. I’m one of the lucky ones—a little survivor with a big heart and so much love to give.
