Evie
AvailableEvie is a 2-year and 2-month-old spayed female mixed breed Shepherd in Dunwoody, GA. She’s considered a large dog. Her vaccinations are up to date and she does well living alongside other dogs and cats. Evie’s gentle and calm temperament shines most in a quiet home with patience and structure.
About Evie
Evie is a big, gentle soul for anyone drawn to larger dogs. At just under 70 lbs, she’s a calm presence in her foster home. When first arriving, she was absolutely terrified of nearly everything: people, new places, new sounds. Her transformation has been remarkable, thanks to the support and example of confident dogs around her. Now she’ll seek out affection and can run and play in the yard freely. Evie gets along well with dogs of every size, and she has not shown any real interest in the cats she’s met. Evie still appreciates a predictable, low-key home and will do best with at least one other young, steady dog to play with and help keep her confidence growing. She does well on leash, but having a fenced yard is important while she gets used to new surroundings. If you’re looking to support a shy dog blooming into her own, Evie might be the one to meet.
