Atlas
AvailableAtlas is a gray, blue, and silver Domestic Short Hair cat living in Evanston, IL. He is an adult, neutered male with a short coat, fully house trained and up to date on his vaccinations. Atlas enjoys being the only cat in the home and thrives when he can explore and observe his surroundings. He would be the perfect companion for someone seeking a playful and independent feline friend.
About Atlas
Atlas takes supervising his human seriously. He’s always right at the door to welcome you home, curious and eager to make sure all is well. High perches are a must since he’d rather keep an eye on you from above while you go about your routine, never underfoot but always nearby. Atlas investigates every corner to keep things safe and sound. Dinner is his favorite part of the day—the start of quality time. He’s spirited at play, batting balls, mice, and even wine corks down the hallway or sharing a quiet exchange with you if you join him on the floor. If you’re busy, Atlas doesn’t mind; he entertains himself just fine. While he’ll tolerate brief cuddles, Atlas prefers paws on the ground. He enjoys gentle pets while lounging and, once he trusts you, may present his belly for a rub. He’ll sit with you for TV time, especially if there’s a toy to bat at, and likes to check in as you settle in for the night, sometimes keeping you company until the early morning play calls. Atlas needs to be your only cat—he prefers the solo life. If you want a loyal companion who’s content alone but still makes the house feel less empty, he’s your guy.
