About Simon

Simon is a shy, dignified cat with a knack for making people laugh. At six years old, he has the kind of unflappable gaze and expressive face that seem straight out of a comic strip. Simon thrives in calm, quiet homes, and prefers an environment without small children—older, respectful kids are just fine. He’s not the type to rush into the spotlight and will need time and patience to settle in, but the reward is real if you let him move at his own pace. Simon gets along with mellow feline companions but would be equally content as the only cat soaking up all the attention. For now, he might be found hiding out during visits, but with some tube treats and a gentle approach, you'll start to see more of his quirky charm. His plush gray coat is soft to the touch and he truly enjoys head scratches once he trusts you. If a witty, low-key cat who prefers the shadows over the chaos sounds right for your home, Simon's worth meeting in San Diego, CA. Click apply to start the adoption process.
