Meet Ruby! This gorgeous 7 month old girl has already come such a long way in her young life. Ruby originally came into rescue as a tiny bottle baby and was lovingly raised in foster care before being adopted. Unfortunately, due to unexpected life changes, her adoptive mom could no longer keep her, so Ruby is now looking for her forever home once again. Ruby is an incredibly smart, affectionate, and playful pup who thrives on attention and being part of the family. She has completed a basic training course and already knows several commands including sit, shake, and other basics. She is both potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a home that will continue helping her succeed. She loves to play, enjoys people, and does wonderful with children. Ruby would do great with an active family or couple that wants a fun companion to include in everyday life. We would prefer a home where someone has plenty of time to spend with her and ideally a yard where she can run, play, and continue thriving. Like many young dogs, Ruby is still working on a few puppy habits. She is currently learning “leave it” when it comes to items she should not have such as socks or trash, as she can become possessive over those items. Because of this, Ruby will need a committed adopter who will continue her training and help guide her into becoming the best version of herself. With structure, consistency, and love, this girl is going to make an amazing lifelong companion. Ruby is looking for a committed forever home that understands young dogs still need continued guidance and enrichment. In return, she will give endless love, loyalty, and entertainment.
