About Maisy
Maisy is a firecracker of a coonhound mix: athletic, busy, and full of personality. She moves like she might have run marathons in another lifetime, always on her feet and eager for action. Attention seems to follow her; crack a smile and it’s probably because she’s goofing around or showing off her quirky sense of humor. Toys are a must—plan on doubling your usual stash, because Maisy delights in chewing bones, tossing balls, and wrestling with tug-of-war ropes. Enrichment toys (especially Wobblers) get plenty of use. Naps aren’t her strong suit. Maisy would much rather stay close by, sometimes fighting sleep and even dozing on her feet just to keep you in her sights. At home, she’s devoted: you’ll mean the world to her. Loyalty is her default. She craves attention, loves a cuddle, and will happily accompany you anywhere. With other dogs, she does well with the right playmates but can have her preferences—introductions required. She isn’t good with cats. This two-year-old girl has mastered house training—she rings bells to go outside and will use a pee pad if you’re away. Fenced yards are ideal, but she’ll do well on a long lead too. She’s crate trained, knows recall (unless there’s a distraction), and handily learns new tricks with enough treats. Smart and gorgeous, Maisy is looking for a committed companion who appreciates her goofy, loving heart. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
