About Walker

Walker spent over five years outdoors, braving the elements and finding shelter wherever he could, often sleeping in a box on a porch. Named after a classic TV favorite, Walker came to rescue with scars and stories, having endured wounds, fleas, ticks, and a painful abscess from a bite. His sad eyes have seen a tough life, but despite everything, he is gentle, loving, and forgiving. Walker is full of gratitude to now be safe inside, and he loves sharing charming, chirpy stories with anyone who will listen. Since coming in, Walker has had thorough medical care, including extensive vetting and oral surgery. He’s now FELV/FIV negative, fully vaccinated, neutered, and house trained. Walker gets along with cats, dogs, and children, and he’s eager for the kind of soft, secure life he always deserved. His wait has been long, and he’s ready for a home where he’ll be treasured.
