About Pep
Pep is a young, energetic mixed-breed dog—a blend of Black Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull Terrier—with a big personality and a bigger heart. He's up to date on all his shots, including Lyme, and he's already neutered. Mostly housebroken, Pep still needs some structure and continued training as he figures out the world. He knows basic commands like sit, no, and wait, and thinks nothing beats a good cuddle on the couch. At heart, he believes he's a lap dog, even though he’s on the larger side. Pep gets anxious in the dark and prefers having someone by his side when he goes out at night. Past run-ins with small dogs mean Pep is best as the only dog in a peaceful home. He would thrive with access to a large, fenced yard where he can sprint and play as much as he likes. He’s happiest chewing on bones or toys and looking for just the right person to guide him as he matures. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
