Are you ready for the ultimate glow up? Powerline is one of the best we've ever seen! When Powerline came into Chicago Animal Care and Control he was at least three pounds underweight and in some pretty rough shape. One of his eyes looked so bad we thought it would have to be removed, he had an upper respiratory infection, and he had likely spent the majority of his short life suffering outside. Boy what a few months of TLC can do because this guy is now a whole new cat! Powerline has been so resilient, enduring so many eyedrops and medications, getting to the point that he is now the healthiest and happiest boy! We could not be prouder of this silly guy! Now that he doesn't have to worry about all that anymore, he is just a normal kitten who loves crinkle balls, silvervine sticks, his cozy cave tent, and getting held so he can purr and sometimes chew on your hair. While his time outside brought him to us a little on the weary side in relation to humans, he has grown leaps and bounds and he is easily reminded how much he loves cuddles when you scoop him up. We think he will continue to grow his confidence over time, especially with a friendly cat pal to help show him the ropes. Powerline loves other cats, like could follow them around all day! He loves to wrestle with kitty friends, chase toys together, and explore new spaces. He is gentle, curious, and sweet, with a small side of mischief when he wants to play. He requires another friendly cat pal in his forever home, and he could potentially do well with older kiddos who understand he can be a little more reserved at first. We think he would do best in a home without small children or dogs. Powerline is truly one of a kind and appreciates how hard people have worked to get him healthy.
