About Nutmeg

Nutmeg is a young female Shepherd mix, close to a year old, with a striking brindle coat and a medium build. She arrived at the shelter after being found wandering in San Leandro, and her former person never came for her. Now, she’s searching for a new start and a stable place to land. Nutmeg is up to date on her vaccinations and will be spayed and microchipped before she leaves for her next home. She’s on the lookout for an adopter who can help a smart, active dog settle into real family life. Note: Nutmeg isn’t yet house trained, but she’s eager to learn with some patient guidance. Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing and the cost of her spay surgery. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
