Mama is a black Lab mix, and Daddy is an Australian cattle dog, and they created these adorable 9-week-old babies looking for forever homes. They require active adopters familiar with cattle dog personalties. Although the Labrador side softens some of the intensity of the cattle dog genes, adding sociableness and a love of people, it doesn’t erase the cattle dog’s drive. The pups don’t just want attention, they want purpose. They will test boundaries and need a great deal of exercise and mental stimulation. And they will herd, an instinct that can show up as nipping at heels, especially with kids or other pets, and needs to be redirected early. The pups have tested negative for heartworm, have been spayed/neutered, and are current on vaccinations. You will receive health records and a bag of Hill's Science Diet pet food upon adoption.
