You see, she still finds being approached scary at times--that will happen when you are on your own at a young age! She must have seen some things that frightened her, and she had to protect her sister, Bubbles, also. Blossom may be wary when she doesn't know what is going to happen. . . but the thing is, if you hear a hiss, she doesn't mean it. Try to pet her or pick her up and she brooks NO resistance--in fact, she loves being held! She is less treat motivated and more love motivated. It honestly seems that deep down, or even pretty shallowly down, Blossom just wants to be held and to know that everything is going to be okay.
