Onyx is a striking four-month-old coonhound/Rottweiler mix with a short, glossy black coat that catches the light every time she moves. At about 25 pounds now, she has plenty of playful, puppy drive and loves to stay close to people. She’s craving a family who will give her room to grow into her big paws and match her affection with patience and guidance. Onyx fills the room with good-natured energy and quick curiosity, always happy to romp and just as eager to snuggle up when the play winds down. She gets along well with dogs and children, so she’d fit right in with an active household looking for a loyal companion. She hasn’t been house trained yet, but with her eagerness and sharp mind, proper guidance should come naturally as she settles in. Onyx’s vaccinations are up to date, and she’s scheduled to be neutered soon.
