About Morgan McKenzie
Meet Morgan McKenzie. She was born in October 2025 and rescued from the streets of Maryland, where she learned to survive on her own before landing safely with 4Paws. Morgan comes off reserved at first, but she quickly opens up to quiet affection—with a gentle meow and instant purrs as soon as you stroke her fur. She gravitates toward cozy spaces and loves curling up next to you or disappearing under a blanket for comfort. Morgan gets along well with other cats, especially laid-back females, but she won’t shy away from defending her food if another feline gets pushy. She’s polite and curious when meeting cat friends—never bossy. Having been through her share of noise and uncertainty, she flourishes in calm, patient homes that allow her to move at her own pace. Sudden moves or loud sounds can make her skittish, but she always finds her way back to you for quiet reassurance. Morgan is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She’s tested negative for FELV and FIV. Local adoptions only—she’s available in the Northern VA / DC / MD area, and 4Paws does not adopt to students. For those with a peaceful home and a gentle hand, Morgan McKenzie will reward you with steadfast loyalty and affection. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Morgan McKenzie
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Morgan McKenzie, a domestic short hair cat, typically does best in a home with a calm atmosphere. Domestic short hairs are adaptable but flourish where things aren’t too chaotic, making apartments or quiet houses ideal.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Morgan McKenzie, like most domestic short hairs, can thrive entirely indoors and doesn’t require outdoor space to be content. A few safe windows to gaze from and comfy spots to nap will keep her happy.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Domestic short hairs like Morgan often get along well with respectful children, but given her sensitive nature, a home with calmer, older kids or adults would be the best fit.
