Sage is a 7-8 month old female shepherd mix who found herself in a shelter with her siblings and mom. We brought her sister, Sydney, into rescue last month and she was quickly adopted so we went back for Sage. Sage looks like a miniature version of a large breed dog, she is on the shorter side and weighs in right at 31 pounds. She has been settling in and adjusting to living in a home with 2 large breeds dogs, 2 other foster puppies and a (dog savvy) cat. Sage is an active girl and loves running in the backyard, playing with toys and with the other animals & humans in her foster home. Her coat is silky soft and she loves to lean into you with her whole body for hugs and snuggles. She really wants to please and seems to be sensitive to correction. She is an ideal candidate for training and may make a good candidate for dog agility activities. She is crate trained and house trained when let out on a regular schedule.
