About Grant

Grant is a two-year-old chocolate Lab mix who has survived more than his fair share of hardship. When he was first found, Grant was emaciated, weighing only 22 pounds, with his body marked by cuts and scratches—signs of his struggle to escape a tough past. Thanks to a compassionate rescuer, Grant got the chance to begin again, and he has made the most of it. Now, Grant is energetic and genuinely sweet, with a playful spirit that shines especially around children, other dogs, and even cats. Though he was initially scared of kennels, patient care and plenty of treats have helped him see these spaces as safe and inviting, filled with toys and comfort. Today, Grant is neutered, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated. He is house trained and looking for an adopter who can give him the love and freedom to run, play, and finally relax into a safe home. This big-hearted boy is ready to start a new chapter.
