Agnes
AvailableAgnes is a senior small mixed breed dog in Mt Pleasant, SC, with a long apricot/beige coat. She is spayed, and her vaccinations are up to date. While she isn’t fully house trained yet, she is good with other dogs and cats and will do best in an adult home. Agnes will need regular professional grooming and is still learning the basics of home life.
About Agnes
Agnes came to rescue after years spent with a backyard breeder, only leaving once most of the others had been chosen. She is sweet but understandably a bit reserved, with age estimated as senior or at least middle-aged. Life before rescue didn’t do her any favors—her mouth required a major dental, and now she just has a few teeth left. She’s spayed, vaccinated, chipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on preventatives. Agnes needs patience as she learns the basics. Potty training is still a work in progress and leash skills are coming along slowly. Regular grooming will be needed due to her long coat. She enjoys being with people all day and shows no trouble living with dogs or cats, but would do best in an adult home since she’s never been well socialized. Her gentle, quiet energy will suit someone willing to go slow and let her decompress from her early hardships. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.

Small mixed-breed dogs like Agnes usually don't require much outdoor space. Regular walks and supervised outdoor time suffice, rather than a large backyard.
