Cotton is a 4-year-old terrier mix with the sweetest soul and the biggest heart. She's truly the definition of a companion dog-where you go, she wants to be right by your side. Whether it's curling up on your lap while you work or snuggling in bed at night, Cotton is happiest just being close to her person. She is incredibly loyal and forms strong bonds with her people. While she can be a little nervous when meeting new people-especially if they approach her too quickly-she warms up with a little patience and quickly shows her loving, affectionate personality. Cotton is mostly potty trained and does well being left out when you're away-no kennel needed. She does need to lose a little weight and is currently on a diet, but she still has plenty of playful energy and loves to have fun. One of Cotton's favorite things? Other small dogs! She absolutely loves them and would thrive in a home with a small dog companion, though she would also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. We are currently working on her confidence with leash and collar handling, as those can make her a bit nervous, but she is making progress with consistency and gentle guidance.
