About Zip
Zip is a bright, active Labrador Retriever mix whose zest for life is matched only by her impressive zoomies. She’s living in a DC area foster home where she’s proven herself an affectionate shadow who prefers to keep close—no task is complete unless Zip is by your side. Playful and independent, she entertains herself with endless games of fetch and loves shaking her collection of toys. She’s done beautifully with her foster’s two cats, showing polite interest and a friendly, eager demeanor. Zip also gets along well with other dogs, making her a strong candidate for multi-pet homes. Zip’s had heartworm treatment and spent some time on exercise restriction, but she’s now ready for full-on activity again. She wants nothing more than a soft bed, regular meals, and a place to belong. She’s young, energetic, and craves a family ready for both snuggles and outdoor play. Zip still works on her crate training and may need some patience during house training, but she makes up for it with boundless love and personality. Ready to fall in love?
