Once you have submitted the adoption questionnaire, our Adoptions team will follow up with you via phone or email as soon as possible. 3. If we are a match, the Adoptions team will schedule a meet and greet appointment at the shelter. Questions about adopting? Please email Adopt@hihs.org. All HIHS dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for heartworm disease, and up-to-date on vaccines. When you adopt from HIHS, you have the confidence in knowing that we have invested in your new pet's health and behavior! Please note: Our shelter is open for walk-in visits on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 10am to 4pm. Please note: all adoptions are by appointment only.
