About Boone Man's Best Friend

Meet Boone 💙 Boone is one of the “Lucky Pups,” born on January 11th, and he’s every bit the blessing his name suggests. After getting a second chance alongside his siblings, Boone is now ready to find a forever home of his own. The only boy in a litter of sisters, Boone has been learning social skills from day one—and it shows! This chunky little guy is equal parts cuddly and playful. He loves snuggling up with his foster mom and dad just as much as he enjoys a good wrestling match (though his sister Iris usually keeps him in check 😉). Don’t let his serious photos fool you—Boone is a total goofball. His personality is growing every day, and he’s quickly becoming a fun, affectionate, and entertaining companion. Boone currently weighs about 30 pounds and is growing fast. We expect him to be 60+ pounds full grown. His sister's DNA results show a mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Dogo Argentino —breeds known for their loyalty, intelligence, and loving nature. You can see their DNA results above and more photos and videos by visiting our website: GoodCatchDogRescue.org Like most puppies, Boone is in his teething phase and especially enjoys using his “teefers.” He’s learning to redirect to toys and chews, and he’ll thrive with continued guidance. Because of this, he may do best in a home with slightly older children who understand puppy behavior. He sleeps soundly and without interruption throughout the night in his crate and has mastered being walked on a leash with a harness. Boone is microchipped, current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and fully vaccinated. He has not yet been neutered, as we allow time for natural growth and development. Puppies in our care who are 6 months or older are spayed or neutered through Good Catch; for younger puppies, this responsibility falls to the adopter. At this young age, Boone will do best in a home where someone is around most of the day to provide structure, playtime, and companionship as he grows into a confident, well-adjusted dog. We are based in Texas but adopt to multiple states—we’re committed to finding Boone the perfect match. We use trusted transport partners to safely deliver our pups to their forever homes. You can visit us on Facebook or our website to see more of Boone and his siblings and get a closer look at their journey.
