About Grisita

Meet Little Miss Gracita est DOB: 1/16/2025 This lovely young mama is ready to trade in her mom duties for a lifetime of love and attention of her very own. At around a year old, Gracita has already raised three beautiful babies-and now it's her turn to be spoiled. Gracita is as sweet as they come. She's incredibly affectionate and will happily follow you from room to room, gently asking for pets and companionship. Whether she's leaning in for head scratches or curling up nearby, she just wants to be close to her people. She's also a bit of a chatterbox and will "talk" to you in the cutest way, making sure you always know she's there. With her soft, light gray tiger coat and the most adorable cream-colored "eyeliner," Gracita is as beautiful as she is loving. Her gentle, friendly nature makes her an easy addition to a home looking for a devoted companion. If you're looking for a cat who will greet you, follow you, and fill your home with love (and a little conversation), Little Miss Gracita is your girl. FOSTER-TO-ADOPT PROGRAM Not sure if a particular pet will be the perfect match? Our Foster-to-Adopt program is the way to go FMCA's foster-to-adopt program is essentially a trial period so you can be sure your selection is a good fit for your home and family. This is especially helpful if you have other pets and children or just need more time to make a final decision. FOSTER-TO-ADOPT PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS The Foster-to-Adoption program requires a fully approved application. Applicant must be 21 years old All applicants must complete an application, undergo a residency and vet verification plus a virtual interview/home visit prior to application approval. We also require a drivers' license, or other form of ID, for each adult in the household. CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION We process adoptions through ShelterLuv. The first step is to complete an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FMCA/Cat If you do not have a specific pet in mind, please list a general description of what you are looking for, i.e. adult female cat or pair of kittens or unknown, etc. under the section titled "Which animals are you interested in?" This will allow us to quickly determine if we may have what you are looking for readily available or in one of our foster homes still going through the vetting process. You will hear from us in the next few days. Please note, FMCA is an all-volunteer organization and most of our volunteers work full-time, so please be patient. After an applicant is fully approved and an appropriate pet is selected, we will coordinate pet transfer. We will stay in touch to monitor during the two-or three-week trial period. If it's a go, we will finalize the adoption electronically. During the trial period, we are always available to help with items such as getting pets settled in, pet introductions and ways to help shy pets acclimate. If things don't work out, the pet will return to FMCA. Please email us at info@fmca.org with any questions regarding the adoption process.
