Salaam’s story is one of resilience and second chances. Previously adopted but later abandoned in Olney, he was thankfully noticed by a caring neighbor who knew he didn’t belong on the streets and stepped in to get him help. Despite that rough turn, Salaam hasn’t lost his loving nature—he’s incredibly affectionate, happily responds to his name, and will follow you around like a loyal little shadow. He has a great appetite and an easygoing personality, getting along well with other cats and showing no issues around dogs. Salaam adjusts quickly to new environments, making him a wonderful fit for many types of homes. With his gentle, companionable spirit, he’s ready to find a family who will truly cherish him and give him the forever home he deserves.
