About Fitz Declawed

My name is Fitz! I’m a simple guy who loves to snack and snuggle! You could say I get my name because I will “fit” right next to you, the way I love to cuddle up close whenever we relax together. My favorite thing is to get settled right up against your legs and feet, they are my preferred pillows! I’m a sweet 7 and 1/2 year old fellow looking for my forever home after my previous owners could no longer look after me. Though I’m starting to get up there in my years, I am a very tolerant and social guy! I love people, am great with kids, enjoy the company of other cats, and can even get along with dogs (I used to live with 3 big ones)! I am front declawed, which is unfortunate for me, but it DOES mean sofas and curtains don’t have to worry when I’m around. And I still make fantastic biscuits, always kneading my paws when you pet me. I never get tired of pets! You can pick me up and I’ll melt right into your arms, sometimes even drooling a little, but it’s only because I’m so very happy to be loved by you! Heads up, I have a condition called PICA. It means I am a little TOO interested in trying to eat fabrics and plastic, but it’s no trouble as long as those things are kept out of my reach. And of course, I’m neutered, up to date on my vaccines, and have great litter box manners. I can’t wait to start living the good life, I hope to be a good “fit” into your home soon! Adoption fee: $100, includes first 2 FVRCP vaccines, sterilized, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
